| Abstract | In this report, we propose a real-time recognition method of camera-captured word images. Using the method, we can realize a system which recognizes words in scenes and offers related information to the word such as images, sounds and translation of the words in real-time. The system can recognize character images captured from various angles, texts aligned on a non-straight line, and texts which consists of characters of various sizes. |
